Heat Distortion Test is a standard test used to assess the temperature at which a polymer, plastic or plastic composite specimen deforms under a given flexural load. Either it is based on Flow Meter Measurement, here equipment is fitted with rotameter. We can also use air velocity method.

(max file size 512 MB)

Standard Compliance:

Fresh air is admitted by the high capacity blower, controlled by means of damper & measured using differential air velocity sensor for required 100-200 air changes per hour.

Model Number:-D195

Method 1:

Based on Flow Meter Measurement

The equipment is fitted with a Rota meter an external air source is arranged by the oven via flow meter fitted with needle valve control The customer to provide forced-air inside

Method 2:

Heat distortion assembly is affixed inside the aforesaid oven Air blow with air velocity tunnel equipped with differential air velocity measurement probe is connected to the oven. According to the standard? UL-1581 Reference standard

Deviceisused for measuring the deformation test of wire under a certain temperature and load

3 test stations suitable for various cable sizes.

Lower end diameter of pressure bar: 9.5? 0.2mm

Upper end diameter of pressure bar: ?19?0.2mm

Total weight of pressure bar: 250g

Multi-Station: 3

Frequently asked questions:-
